Should You Stretch Before or After Your Weight Training Workout

I am a big believer in the science behind weight training and bodybuilding. The days of just lifting heavy weights to make your muscles grow, are well and truly behind us. That is not to say you don’t need to pick up a set of heavy dumbbells, but you may not need as heavy as might think.

But what you need to remember is that it is the tension on your muscles that make them grow, not the heavy weight!

There is also a science behind stretching to maximize muscle growth. You may be following our bodybuilding schedule to the ‘T’, but if you are not maximizing the growth of those muscles with every aspect of bodybuilding, from lifting weights, nutrition and proper stretching – you will not grow your muscles like you thought you would!
