Here is a great video explaining HIIT (high intensity interval training) and a couple of ways to do it properly, if you used to weight training or are a bodybuilder.
Doing this type or cardio to maximize fat loss takes less time than ‘machine based’ cardio that you can do in the gym on a treadmill or elliptical trainer. Those machines serve a wonderful purpose, but for slow and steady calorie burning (which is not as effective as HIIT) and also for keeping your heart healthy (this is the reason I use cardio machines).
